In 2019 Stevie Reno was perusing a coffee table book featuring the greatest album covers of all time, a thoughtful and personal gift from his wife and business partner, Vina. A TV program about the best hot dogs in America played in the background. It was then that Reno was struck with an idea the same way an electric guitar sends energy through the musician’s body : a classic rock-themed craft hot dog-focused restaurant.

When Rock City Dog speaks you hear guitar riffs in the background. Rock City Dogs is cool, confident, and spoken with a subtle cloud of smoke surrounding everything they say. Sometimes when they get really excited, ROCK CITY DOGS SHOUTS.

Rock City Dogs is a little nostalgic and incredibly knowledgeable about 70s classic rock - facts about the era are sprinkled into the copy. The brand is thoughtful. Sometimes punchy. Classic 70s rock bands produced short, fast-paced songs with hard-edged melodies and singing styles and often political, anti-establishment lyrics. Rock City Dogs embraces this cadence when speaking about their restaurant.
